I worked for 4 years on developing vertical farming technology solutions with my company, mainly focussing on embedded hardware, plant sciences, and embedded software. Over these years, I've had to learn various technologies and fields of research, such as electrical engineering, software engineering, embedded systems, environmental control, food supply chains, automation, energy systems, and, most importantly, plant sciences. A lot needs to be known before one can start designing and building a vertical farm.
I started getting more and more interested in decentralized web technologies, reaching a tipping point earlier in the summer, deciding to stop my vertical farming activities and go all-in learning everything I can about web3 with the goal of working in the industry. It's become my full-time obsession, and I'm eager to apply my skills, desire to learn, and ability to view things holistically to the development of the future of the internet.
