I have just over 18 years experience in Software Development, including significant time as Scrum Master ( Sky ), and Delivery Manager ( MoJD , 10x ) - spanning industries in Media, Government Public Service and Fintech/Banking. I have the people skills to manage and empower multiple team(s) and individuals. I have the organisation skills to manage projects and stakeholders. I have the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org and accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management, so an excellent understanding of Agile frameworks and methodologies - having utilised Scrum, Kanban, XP and Lean.
I have a strong engineering background having been a former engineering, and can still code today ( Golang, React ). I have a good understanding of full-stack architectures, which helps me understand the development teams, what we’re found and why.
On my CV you will see recent experience as a Senior Software Development Manager at 10x and Head of Media Services at BBC Worldwide which is where I’ve managed large teams, both mobile and backend including 8 x teams and products/services ( 10x ).
