Experience: The opportunity to join Alpaca Finance's Business Development team allows me to merge my 3 passions: investing, digital assets and business building. I am confident that I have the relevant experience and background required to make an impact at Alpaca Finance. Advising sophisticated individuals, families and institutions on their investments is at the very heart of what I have done throughout my career. My performance is measured based on the client assets I bring and the revenue I generate. My track record in this respect should put me in good stead for the Business Development Manager position.
Competency: I foresee myself slotting into the role with minimal friction. Whether it’s providing market colour to clients, discussing partnership opportunities or executing on the lifecycle of the pipeline, my skill-sets and competencies make me a good fit. I am fortunate to have had a grounding in investing for clients across traditional asset classes. Together with my (still growing!) knowledge in the digital asset space I hope to leverage these competencies to deliver the best possible outcome to Alpaca Finance's clients and partners.
Network: Spending most of my career in the UK, while having family from Singapore and South Korea has allowed me to build an extensive network (particularly UHNW individuals, Family Offices & External Asset Managers) across Europe and Asia. I have personally seen a paradigm shift in the past 18 months – discussions and interest surrounding the digital asset sector have significantly increased, and the willingness to have ‘skin in the game’ is genuine. I believe that Alpaca Finance has a compelling solution in the DeFi space am excited at the growth trajectory of the firm.
