I’m a Software Developer with over 3 years of professional experience developing and maintaining customer-facing applications in Agile teams. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and a certification in Ethereum Development.
I developed strong computer science fundamentals through three internships and two full time positions spanning SQL, JavaScript and Node. I expanded my skills into blockchain development and Solidity smart contracts through a rigorous bootcamp in 2021.
At the start of 2020 my employer downsized and I was caught in a round of job eliminations -- Before I could find another position, the pandemic lockdown started leading to a recession and spike in unemployment; as this continued through to 2021, I found it necessary to expand and sharpen my skills.
I took online classes to achieve a certification in Robotic Process Automation through UiPath. Around this time I developed a special interest in Web3 and blockchain which led me to a ChainShot bootcamp where I earned a certification in Ethereum/Solidity Development.
Now that the pandemic restrictions are lifting, I am ready to move my career in new directions, with new skills coupled with several years of pre-pandemic experience.
