Hi! I'm a nerdy tech generalist on startup #12, leaving 11 previously where I failed or made "not as much as I should have." that's kinda why DAOs are so exciting to me: being able to get an equitable return on time and investment, just like I expect with a startup. I've also previously cofounded a tech incubator and startup accelerator in Silicon Valley (both closed down but built some awesome entrepreneurship comms), and then cofounded a $7m VC fund in Asia which I left after running for 3.5 years because I got a shitty "employment" offer my older, more successful cofounder. After a few more bad attempts at my own startups and lots of free work for others, I decided to focus on a passion for cannabis and tech. That's when I joined my current startup, a 5-year old cannabis genetics lab, which I recently joined as a cofounder and COO. While the company is growing I have some extra time that I'd love to devote to working in web3.
As a generalist I've played a lot of different roles, but here are the ones im OK at vs the ones where I'd love to learn more by doing noob stuff! Things I'm good at: community engagement, finance + fundraising, marketing/outreach/BD, content & events What I'd love to do more of: governance/legal, Tokrnization, rewards, bounties, treasury, web dev
