I’m -----, a 27 year-old, early-career infosec professional from the Faroe Islands. And more than that, a decentralisation and crypto enthusiast.
As you can see in my CV, I come from an educational and professional background in security, infrastructure, and network engineering. However, I’m cognizant that my knowledge and experience is not up to the point of your devops engineer position, although that is the sort of role and the sort of work I strive towards doing in the future.
On the crypto side, I consider myself a crypto-native. I bought my first few bitcoins in 2013, but left the loop for a few years. I keep up to date with the latest developments in DeFi, try out products constantly, and of course speculate – and I have a couple of conferences on my calendar for this year as well. I’m super excited about the future that p2p finance and soverign, collective ownership can propel us towards.
...Which is why I’m sending this open application: I would be thrilled to join your team in largely any capacity, and help drive Ether Capital forward. I would love to take on the responsibilities of a junior engineering position such as a sysadmin, junior SRE, junior cloud engineer, or similar, but I’m also very much open to other roles, if you should identify a potential fit. I’ve been working remotely for the past year, so I’m also very much used to that environment.
If you hire me, you are hiring someone who already is firmly entrenched in the world of crypto, and who would be entirely aligned with your mission: making freedom available to everyone.
