In a previous life I've been a Control Systems Engineer for 5 years, successfully commissioning, maintaing and upgrading Process Control and Safety Systems on Offshore Oil Platforms in the UK Continental Reef, travelling to and from work in helicopters in 0 visibility fog and landing blindly as well as commissioning projects in Saudi for Petroleum by-products. In my current life which runs for a little over 4 years, I've been an Operations Manager who recently got promoted to a Project Manager for Oil & Gas Offshore Field Develeopment Projects in the Eastern Meditteranean Region, particularly focusing on Shorebase Setup and Management and Head of Energy Department in my current company. I can learn very quickly, I can lead teams, make them stick and work like clockwork, motivate and inspire people and manage the technical and operational aspects of a project. I've been involved with Crypto since late 2013 an have amassed knowledge on the technical, technological and psychological aspects, trends, indicators, communities, Centralised and Decentralised exchanges, Defi, Gaming, Metaverse and the list goes on but with two subjects that I take immense pleasure in; 1) wallet account and private key storing and management, a service that I offer as a consultation on the side to ensure that no funds are forever lost if the unthinkable happens to the user, and 2) DeFi in general and as a revolutionary way of increasing our crypto holdings, taking ownership of our finances & building wealth, hedging against inflation and taking power away from centralized entities. I personally see DeFi as not only a financial product but as a school of finance for the masses. PS. I grew up in a small family restaurant in the Cypriot Mountains which we have recently renovated and still successfully run as a family.
