Technically, Web3 interests me because of the marriage between finance and technology. As a Computer Science student myself, I have seen and learnt how engineers systematically breakdown and solve problems, from the physical world to the abstract world of mathematics. Web3 is what happens when engineers rethink how the financial system works, and do it in a manner that is human-less, predictable, and transparent. From loans to insurance, Web3 can disrupt the existing financial systems or even replace it, and we are just beginning.
