Entrepreneurial Spirit I started BrainchildNFT, a web3 education phygital project. Our mission was to have meaningful web3 conversations and we incentivised users to be curious, generous and have integrity by giving exemplary members our novel NFT. At the height of BrainchildNFT, I employed a team of 11 members across all departments. I am familiar with AWS setup, React, Solidity, Web3.js, Netlify, Gnosis, major DEX, Dapps, L1s, ecosystems etc. I was involved in the early days of setting up Orient Futures Brokerage in Singapore, where I had to multi-task trading desk duties and running projects with external developers to build our internal systems, Zendesk CRM, Jira and trade system.
Crypto Native I’m familiar with most major crypto projects, layer 2, Dapps and dominant narratives such as DAO, Gamefi and NFT. Have been involved in crypto since 2016 and decided to move full time into crypto in 2021. My background in hedge funds and futures brokerage gave me an eureka moment when I saw the unstoppable macro factors aligning and the emergency of DeFi innovation starting with AMM model. Outdated order book matching model in TradFi is in for a real treat.
Onchain Data Pioneer I am an avid user of onchain tools and have used Nansen, Glassnode, Deribit, CryptoQuant, Lookintobitcoin to name a few. This gives me a deep understanding of the user experience and requirement, ability to compare across major competitors. As a crypto fund manager, I use these onchain data to feed into my models and frequently discuss with other institutional users and expert users.
DAO Governance Participates in lil nouns DAO and contributes to nounsDAO as well as CryptoAddy. My choice of DAO involvement is to proliferate web3 education and better web3 experience. Sometimes lead discussions and often helping others participate meaningfully with the ecosystem.
