First of all, thank you for taking a bit of your time to read my letter and review my CV.
I'm completely self-taught. I believe that the difference it's done during your free time and whenever I'm not spending it together with my friends or family, I use it to study, try, practice and develop my skills, or learn new ones.
You can learn from anything and anyone if you know what to look at. As Sherlock quote says: ´´ You see Watson, but you don't observe´´. Observing is key. Design is everywhere and watching a movie, reading the lyrics of a song, reading an article or even playing a game can teach a lot if you pay attention properly.
I have consumed so much and diverse content during my whole life. No matter the genre of a movie, a game or a book, I will probably consume it sooner or later. Why? Well, because imagination and originality depends on this mix of ideas. The wider it is, the better one you have.
Thanks to this diverse mix of products consumed, things tried, courses done and job experiences. I believe I have gotten good knowledge and skills at the following disciplines:
- Branding Identity (Logo Design, Design System, Style Guide).
- Graphic Design ( Graphics for Social Media Posts, Project Docs, Animated Assets for Videos).
- Concept Art (Character Design & Background Illustrations).
- UX & UI Design.
- Writing & Scripting ( Storytelling & Storyboarding).
On another note, I am fluent in English and Spanish, but I can also understand Portuguese, though I do not consider myself fluent in the latter.
