Dear hiring manager,
I am recent graduate from San Jose State University with a BS in Software Engineering seeking employment particularly in the Web3 space. I have been an active participant of the Blockchain and cryptocurrency technology since I was in middle school. Although back then I will admit I was quite naive to its true potential. I had simply used it as a means of receiving payment for my freelance graphic design and music studio business without having to deal with the restrictions that came with using payment processors at that age. While I had always found an interest in the core technology, the rise of the creator culture truly inspired me to revisit the space and pursue it as a career choice. It brought together my creative passions and technical passions in a way that I didn't think was possible.
For the past several months, I have bouncing between few personal projects and active employment to better understand the Web3 stack, the culture, and truthfully how to strive in a space that is constantly evolving. At Real3, I had the opportunity to lead a small team of talented developers in creating a versatile NFT marketplace geared towards real world utility. I worked with Figma, React, TypeScript, NextJs, Zustand, GraphQL, TailwindCSS, and Solidity. I believe that I would be a great fit for the job because I am passionate about the space and have the skillsets needed to build Web3 products.
