My background is a little unique. Iām Asian-American. I have a PhD, MS, and BS from top U.S. universities. I was a professor for two years in Taiwan and ran a 4-person laboratory with the aim to create a biotech startup. I am a meticulous worker, very analytical, and highly ambitious to create the next best product. I also spent 10 years convincing very smart people to either fund my research (70% rejection rate) or publish my results (40-90% rejection rate), so I believe I have strong writing, marketing, and persuasion skills. I used these skills to help coach 30+ clients write compelling essays for admission to top-tier schools, such as Yale and UC Berkeley. I want to do something unique and that I am passionate about, and I believe working in the DeFi space is something I can put my full entrepreneurial spirit behind.
