Hi! I'm ----- ----- -----, a Software Engineer, a Lambda School graduate who lives at Accra -Ghana, and I am very interested in the vacancy for a UI/UX Developer. I spent most of my formative years studying business management, finance, economics, and french. Always driven to find simple solutions and having an unhealthy passion for learning new things, I was drawn to software engineering, a field that allows me to apply both business and software development principles to break down complex problems into simple and innovative solutions. As a full-stack developer, I have experience building web applications using JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js, Express, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Django, and Flask. I am also well versed in the best practices in the industry. When subprimes and CDO's led to the 2008 financial crisis, I had just completed high school and was getting ready to start my MBA. I had a vague idea of what was really happening to the world of finance and commerce at the time. I chanced upon Satoshi's whitepaper early 2015, I knew on the onset that the blockchain, cryptocurrencies/cryptoassets, trustless platforms, decentralized computing, and cryptography were our solution to the global financial issues caused by government bureaucracy and unbalanced power wielded by centralized platforms and institutions. I am fascinated by distributed systems, cryptography, and the blockchain; a technology that will likely change the landscape of global commerce and finance.
