I have a background in theoretical nuclear physics / applied maths. Engaged in computer vision projects early on (2012-2013). Switched to biophysics and AI/ML in my PhD. Did lots of quant research and trading bots for classical high leverage markets (mostly forex) using technical analysis and ML. Supporting a side project in crypto market making portfolio optimization. Daytime job in computational biology / genetics + ML!
