Before writing a single line of Solidity, I was a DeFi user. I was swapping tokens, providing liquidity, interacting with protocols like Uniswap and Aave, and watching smart contracts execute in real time. I understood Web3 from the inside, not as a concept, but as a daily experience. That perspective changed everything when I decided to stop being a user and start being a builder. My technical foundation started earlier than most people expect. I graduated with a diploma in Business IT Systems, accounting, databases, programming logic, system architecture. Not glamorous, but it gave me something valuable: I already understood how systems think before I ever touched blockchain development. When I decided to make the leap into Web3 development, I didn't go halfway. I completed a full Master in Blockchain Development & AI, but more importantly — I built. Seven projects, all deployed on Ethereum Sepolia. Not tutorials. Not copy-paste exercises. Real systems with real logic: A peer-to-peer DeFi lending protocol with interest rates and penalty mechanics. A liquid democracy DAO with token-based governance. An NFT collection with Chainlink VRF for on-chain randomness. And my most complex project, a fullstack NFT auction platform with Chainlink Automation, IPFS metadata, and a live React/TypeScript frontend. Because I've used these protocols as a real user, I build them differently. I know what breaks. I know what confuses people. I know what actually matters in production. Now I'm deepening smart contract security through Cyfrin Updraft, because in Web3, understanding how things break is just as important as knowing how to build them.
