Not a joke, but definitely an anecdote. When I first got into crypto, I bought every single coin mentioned by influencers. At one point, I was holding 70 different cryptos—basically, a walking altcoin index fund. A few months later, I realized most of them were useless, so I did a ruthless portfolio cleanup and got rid of almost 60. Geek? Not really. Noob? Oh, absolutely.
