About The Opportunity
The Project Manager (Web3) in the Global CEO Office will play a pivotal role in driving OKX’s top-priority Web3 initiatives. This position requires a Web3-native strategic thinker who deeply understands the crypto ecosystem — from wallets and DEXs to on-chain products and user behaviors — and can translate this knowledge into actionable strategies that enhance product growth, tech stability, and operational efficiency. You will partner directly with leadership to shape, execute, and optimize cross-functional Web3 projects, bridging insights across product, engineering, and business teams. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience using leading Web3 products, a strong grasp of market dynamics and ecosystem trends, and the ability to identify growth opportunities through a product and user-centric lens.
What You’ll Be Doing
User and Product Insights
- Collect and analyze user feedback from multiple sources — including Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Reddit, and other community channels — to identify product pain points and unmet needs
- Synthesize community sentiment, quantitative data, and product analytics into actionable recommendations for product and growth teams
- Build feedback loops between users, community managers, and internal teams to ensure continuous improvement
Program Development and Execution
- Design and manage programs that enhance technical reliability, scalability, and ecosystem expansion
- Continuously measure program performance using clear KPIs (adoption rate, user retention, activation, TVL growth, etc.)
- Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvements aligned with strategic business objectives
Growth and Product Expansion Initiatives
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and BD teams to define and execute strategies that drive user acquisition, retention, and engagement
- Translate data-driven insights and community feedback into clear growth experiments and iterative improvements
- Leverage your Web3-native perspective to identify emerging opportunities and growth loops across the on-chain ecosystem
Web3 Market and Ecosystem Research
- Stay ahead of emerging Web3 trends, narratives, protocols, and ecosystem shifts (e.g., L2, DeFi, Wallet, DEX, Restaking, RWAs, etc.)
- Analyze market and user data to identify opportunities, competitive gaps, and product differentiation levers.
- Evaluate on-chain data, community sentiment, and growth loops across comparable products
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the connective bridge between the CEO Office and various internal teams (Product, Eng, BD, Marketing)
- Communicate project milestones, risks, and outcomes clearly to senior leadership
- Drive alignment and accountability through structured updates and transparent reporting
Competitive and Ecosystem Analysis
- Research competing Web3 products (wallets, DEXs, infra protocols) to benchmark performance and identify innovation gaps
- Deliver actionable insights to inform product positioning, feature roadmap, and user acquisition strategies
Tech Stability and Operational Efficiency
- Partner with engineering and operations to improve system reliability, uptime, and scalability across key Web3 components
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive solutions to optimize workflows, monitoring systems, and execution speed
- Support the adoption of cutting-edge tools and frameworks that strengthen product performance and stability
What We Look For In You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Industry experience candidate preferred
- Deeply Web3-native: daily user of multiple wallets, DEXs, and on-chain tools
- Previous experience in Product Management, Growth, or Strategy within a Web3 company
- Strong understanding of on-chain user behavior, token incentives, and product lifecycle
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and decentralized environment
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, high-impact projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of technical operations, with experience driving tech stability and operational efficiency initiatives
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus
