As a Data Engineer, you will harness cutting-edge technologies to design, develop, optimise, and maintain robust data pipelines, data warehouse, data governance, scalable data architectures, and efficient data systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the risk business team to support the development of risk-related data systems.
• Design, build, and maintain the risk data mart, ensuring thematic data is reusable across different risk domains.
• Govern data assets, including tasks, tables, metrics, labels, and dashboards. Design and implement governance standards and SOPs, driving governance initiatives to successful outcomes.
• Develop data products. Drive the productization and intelligence of risk data construction, management, and application.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Presto, and Hive, with practical experience in Spark task optimization.
• Skilled in designing data warehouse subject models, metrics systems, data quality management, and data governance.
• Experience in backend development, with proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and server-side technologies.
• Experienced in database design and management for both SQL and NoSQL systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical thinking and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Competent in project management and experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and set priorities.
• Fluency in English is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders. Additional languages would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with risk-related business domains.
