<p>Matonee Inc. d/b/a Aptos Labs has an opening for a Software Engineer, Programming Languages and Systems in Palo Alto, CA.</p>
<p>The position duties are as follows: Responsible for advancing the state of the art of the Move language platform. Daily job duties include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Evolving the design and implementation of the Move language, working closely with smart contract developers;</li>
<li>Enhancing the integration of the Move VM into the Aptos environment, specifically in the area of gas metering, performance, and security; and</li>
<li>Working on core Move libraries and their native implementations.</li>
</ul>
<p>The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field or foreign equivalent, plus 3 years of experience as a software engineer in programming languages and systems. Experience must include:</p>
<ol>
<li>3 years of experience with the design and implementation of compilers including parsing, semantic analysis, type checking, optimization, and code generation;</li>
<li>3 years of experience with the implementation of execution environments for programming languages, like virtual machines (Java Virtual Machine, Ethereum Virtual Machine, Move Virtual Machine, etc.); and</li>
<li>3 years of experience with at least one system programming language such as Rust, Go, Swift, or C++.</li>
</ol>
<p>Role permits full time telecommuting. Must be available for internal calls and meetings weekdays between 10am and 2pm U.S. PT. Incidental domestic and/or international travel for hackathons and other professional events. Must be willing to travel to HQ in Palo Alto, CA approx. 4 times per year for onsite meetings and visits.</p>

<p>We are seeking a talented and experienced Blockchain Developer to join <a href="https://github.com/okx/okbchain" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc" target="_blank">OKBC</a> (zk layer2) development team. As a Blockchain Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining blockchain-based solutions. Additionally, you will provide support for OKBC hackathons to encourage innovation and collaboration within the OKBC community.</p>
<h3><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Blockchain Development: Design, develop, and deploy blockchain solutions, including smart contracts and decentralized applications.</li>
<li>Programming: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Solidity, Go, or Rust, C++ depending on the blockchain platform being used.</li>
<li>Smart Contract Development: Create, test, and deploy smart contracts on various blockchain platforms, ensuring security and efficiency.</li>
<li>Architecture Design: Collaborate with architects and software engineers to design scalable and secure blockchain architectures that meet business and technical requirements.</li>
<li>Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize the performance of blockchain networks, including transaction throughput and latency, to enhance scalability and efficiency.</li>
<li>Documentation: Create technical documentation, including design specifications, development guides, and API references, to ensure proper usage and maintenance of blockchain solutions.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>What We Look For In You</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Rust, Go or Solidity.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with L2 platforms, such as Polygon ZKEvm, ZKSync Era, Linea, Taiko, Scroll, etc, or L1 platforms like Ethereum, Cosmos, EVM or Webassembly virtual machines.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Cosmos, Bitcoin, EVM or Webassembly virtual machines.</li>
<li>Proven experience as a Blockchain Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of blockchain concepts, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic principles.</li>
<li>Familiarity with smart contract development tools and frameworks (e.g., Truffle, Remix, Web3.js).</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design and develop efficient blockchain solutions.</li>

<p>The salary range for this position is $166,000 to $293,000. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
