Android Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an Android developer with experience in developing Android Applications. You are able to take a set of business requirements all the way from technical proposals all the way to production and you have demonstrated an ability to move quickly while still pushing quality code out. This role will start out as a contractor role but will have the opportunity to become full-time if the contractor demonstrates strong capability and a good fit with our culture.

Skills/Qualifications

• 5+ years building applications with Android SD

• 5+ years of Java software engineering experience

• Extensive experience working with git

• Extensive experience working with REST APIs and Socket connections

• Experience turning wireframes and mockups into elegantly executed code

• Appreciation for a test-driven, code review culture

• Experience developing well-structured, easily maintainable, well-documented code that balances beauty and pragmatism

Nice To Have Experience

• Interest in technologies such as Amazon Web Services, blockchain and cryptocurrencies
• Successful track record building distributed, high-throughput applications that scales
