Key Responsibilities
- As an Internal Audit Intern, you will support the team in:
- Audit Planning & Execution
- Assist in planning and preparing for internal audits, including gathering relevant data and documentation.
- Conduct preliminary analysis of business processes, risks, and controls.
- Perform audit testing under the supervision of senior auditors.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Document audit findings and observations in line with company standards.
- Assist in drafting audit reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Maintain organized records of audit workpapers and evidence.
- Data Analysis & Tools
- Support data analysis tasks using tools such as Excel, or other analytics software.
- Assist in automating audit processes and improving efficiency.
- Other Duties
- Collaborate with other departments for cross-functional audits or projects.
- Perform administrative tasks related to internal audit as needed.
Requirements
- Education
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Attributes
- Proactive and eager to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Integrity and a strong sense of confidentiality.
- Experience
- Previous internship or coursework in auditing, accounting, or finance is a plus.
