DeFi Risk Analyst - Urgent Hiring

Ordeez is pioneering a Bitcoin liquidity protocol that seamlessly integrates native BTC yield generation through staking, lending, borrowing, and other liquidity strategies across both fungible and non-fungible markets. Our mission is to unlock Bitcoin's full potential by developing innovative, trustless, and decentralized financial solutions.

This will consist of you designing sophisticated algorithms and risk frameworks that will drive our platform's profitability, sustainability, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Advanced Financial Models: Design dynamic Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio models and interest rate algorithms that adapt to market conditions, ensuring competitive yields and platform stability.
• Risk Management & Strategy Optimization: Analyze and select high-liquidity assets, develop stress-testing scenarios, and refine yield strategies to align with Ordeez's long-term objectives.
• Collaborate with Blockchain Developers: Work closely with our engineering team to integrate financial models into our Bitcoin Layer 1 infrastructure, ensuring accurate and efficient on-chain implementation.
• Core Team Participation: Contribute to strategic decisions and stay abreast of advancements in DeFi risk management and quantitative finance.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: PhD in Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Applied Statistics, or a related field. (Ideally but applicants will be judged fairly)
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in stochastic modeling, portfolio optimization, and risk management frameworks; experience with DeFi protocols and financial systems in the crypto space; familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Rust, or Solidity is advantageous.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to deconstruct complex problems into precise, scalable solutions.
• Collaborative Spirit: Team-oriented with excellent communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
