Join us to bring crypto to the world.Position:  Director of Platform Analytics & Accounting Job Location: 237 Kearny St. Ste. 102, San Francisco, CA 94108 (Telecommuting permitted from any location in the US) Duties: Together with the leadership team in Finance, holistically assess the long term-technology needs to provide scalable solutions and support the growth in all Finance functions (Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Tax). Build and grow the Finance Platform Data and Accounting Operations team and be the go-to person for leading and driving all technology-driven and automation initiatives for the Finance team. Oversee and continue to strengthen the Platform Accounting function. Establish an exceptional Reconciliation team to establish stronger internal controls and to ensure all transactions are properly accounted for in the banking/crypto gateways and in the exchange. Liaise with the Product, IT and Data teams to build and maintain a real-time reconciliation tool as well as maintain informative dashboards. Liaise with external auditors for platform accounting matters. Work with the CFO to set the immediate and longer-term strategic direction for FDAO office by prioritizing projects and resources accordingly. Communicate progress and challenges with the CFO and COO in a timeline manner and proactively suggest creative solutions and paths forward. Provide business requirements and oversee the implementation of finance data infrastructure. Develop key metrics to measure progress and performance for Finance Transformation, Platform Accounting, and the Reconciliation Office team.Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems or accounting or related. Minimum experience required: 10 years of experience in applying analytics or a related occupation. Alternative requirements: In lieu of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems or accounting or related and 10 years of experience in platform analytics or a related occupation, the applicant may present a master's degree or equivalent in information systems or accounting or related and 4 years of experience in platform analytics or a related occupation.Minimum skills required: Demonstrated knowledge of developing finance transformation solutions. Demonstrated knowledge of designing and applying analytics using IT tools (e.g., Tableau, Spotfire, MS Power BI). Demonstrated understanding of complex financial systems (e.g., SAP, Blackline). Demonstrated knowledge of databases and querying languages (e.g., SQL, TSQL, Python, Snowflake). Demonstrated knowledge of working collaboratively with client engagements in design and delivery of IT solutions. Demonstrated knowledge of clients or potential clients in the digital asset exchange industry.
