We are looking for a talented and versatile Fullstack Backend Engineer who thrives in a rapid-prototyping environment. You will lead the development of two innovative products:
- A crypto asset recovery platform that simplifies blockchain forensics for everyday users.
- Investigations Agency : Website Project
- A pair of AI-integrated communication tools, including:
- An AI-powered Slack Company Coach, combining Slack API, Zapier automations, and dashboards.
- A WhatsApp-based messaging app for landlords and tenants, integrating LLMs and a local service database.
This is a rare opportunity to work on cutting-edge blockchain tools and build new AI-first applications that bridge real-world communication gaps using Slack, WhatsApp, and large language models.
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive frontends and scalable backends for all three applications.
- Build custom Slack and WhatsApp integrations using Slack API and Twilio/WhatsApp Business APIs.
- Rapidly prototype MVPs using backend frameworks like Firebase or Supabase.
- Integrate LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, etc.) for chatbot logic and automated assistance.
- Use Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools to accelerate development.
- Implement user authentication and role-based access across apps.
- Build standalone dashboards (e.g., Streamlit, Metabase) to visualize user behavior and Slack team insights.
- Design interactive blockchain forensics visualizations (2–3 hops, with tooltips).
- Connect with blockchain data APIs (e.g., Bitquery, Etherscan).
- Set up analytics and A/B tests to understand and optimize user experience.
- Ensure all apps are secure, maintainable, and production-ready—even if built quickly.
Required Qualifications
- JavaScript/TypeScript expertise, with solid experience in React.js or Vue.js.
- Strong backend skills with Node.js + Express, Firebase, or Supabase.
- Proven Slack API or WhatsApp API (Twilio) integration experience.
- Experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Mistral, etc.) into apps or workflows.
- Deep understanding of LLM prompt engineering, context windows, and vector-based memory (e.g., Pinecone, ChromaDB).
- Experience with AI Vibe coding tools (Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, Cody, etc.) — this is non-negotiable.
- Ability to create or embed dashboards with Streamlit, Superset, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases (eg, PgSQL).
- Familiarity with blockchain data (wallets, addresses, tokens) and APIs like Bitquery or Covalent.
- Comfortable working with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Mixpanel.
- Experience with version control using Git.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with chatbot frameworks (LangChain, Dialogflow, custom GPT setups).
- Knowledge of A/B testing tools like Google Optimize or Optimizely.
- Prior experience working on crypto or fintech products.
- Comfort with fast iteration and “vibe coding” in early-stage environments.
- Experience with frontend deployment on Netlify/Vercel, backend on Heroku/AWS/GCP.
