Head of Investor Relations

Triton Liquid Fund is a digital asset hedge fund based in Abu Dhabi, UAE and is one of the first liquid crypto funds licensed by the world-renowned Abu Dhabi Global Markets (ADGM) regulatory body.

Our vision is to be the leading crypto asset manager in the Middle East, providing investors with institutional-grade exposure to digital assets, starting by servicing regional family offices and HNWIs and ultimately working with regional SWFs. 

Triton’s approach is deeply quantitative and process-driven, and all data and research is proprietary and done in-house. Our first strategy comprises a long only diversified portfolio of alts. It was seeded with $30M by Tier-1 VC, FJ Labs. This strategy will be capped at $150M and is expected to close in Spring ‘25. Our second strategy is long-short and is expected to be live in Q1 ‘25 and a 3rd strategy, smart beta, is currently being ideated.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for covering new relationship development and account management of limited partners (“LP”) in the Middle East and across the globe.
  • The ideal candidate will bring a rolodex of HNWIs, FOF and institutional investors who are interested in deploying into crypto assets, and also enjoys the creative and systematic process of building new LP pipelines.

  • Execute a strategically designed and flawless experience across every touchpoint for our Limited Partners
  • Lead high-level introductory calls with potential investors and evaluate them as qualified LPs.
  • Provide detailed follow-ups and maintain accurate records of all investor interactions in CRM platforms (e.g., Affinity).
  • Coordinate onboarding processes for new LPs to ensure timely completion of all documentation and fund transfers.
  • Collaborate with leadership on VIP investor arrangements, including golden visa facilitation and specialized bank account setups.
  • Lead a creative and systematic approach for developing new investor dealflow.
  • Develop and execute strategies to source new LPs, including leveraging networks, attending high-profile events, and engaging with referrer networks.
  • Maintain relationships with other fund IR professionals to exchange insights and identify synergies.
  • Design and execute investor-focused events such as family office education workshops and private dinners.
  • Support Triton’s internal strategy and external-facing vision. 
  • Provide projections and insights for fundraising budgets and strategies.
  • Deliver bi-monthly updates to the leadership team on the IR pipeline.
  • Manage fund decks, performance reports, and fact sheets, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
  • Supervise the quarterly LP reporting process, including data verification, formatting, and dissemination.

Minimum Qualifications

  • The successful candidate must bring a high level of ethical, intellectual, professional and personal values to our team, including:
  • Preferable past experience includes, but is not limited to, investor relations in a private equity or venture capital firm, or investment banking in a relevant sector coverage capacity 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred; an advanced degree (MBA) or certifications (CFA, CIRI) would be a plus
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with high-level stakeholders, including C-suite executives, institutional investors, or analysts

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of negotiating and closing complex deals with sophisticated investors.
  • A proactive mindset, always anticipating the needs of both the team and investors.
  • Adept at leveraging data-driven insights to optimize investor engagement strategies and measure success.
  • An international outlook and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to build relationships across diverse geographies and investor profiles.
  • Confidence in presenting to large audiences and tailoring messaging to resonate with different investor types.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and a disciplined approach to managing investor pipelines and follow-ups.
  • Strong connections in the Middle East, particularly within family offices, funds of funds, and institutional investors.

This role offers a competitive base salary and a performance-based bonus. Additionally, there is potential for equity participation.

Travel is an expectation and a bonus of the role, in addition to two team offsites a year.
