Role Overview
We’re looking for a strategic, execution-focused Head of Operations to help scale tokened.com into the leading destination for crypto news and thought leadership. This role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily operations across editorial, partnerships, SEO, marketing, and internal workflows. You'll work closely with the founder to transform vision into scalable systems, drive growth, and ensure operational excellence across the board.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring departments are aligned and efficient
- Implement systems and processes to streamline editorial production, publishing, and promotion
- Coordinate across teams (editorial, SEO, marketing, partnerships, tech) to ensure deadlines and growth targets are met
- Manage hiring pipelines and support onboarding for new team members (e.g., writers, SEO specialists, interns)
- Track performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversion) and recommend optimizations
- Oversee execution of the partner program and advertiser relationships
- Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively solve them
- Ensure content calendars, editorial standards, and publishing cadences are maintained
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and growth planning
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in operations, project management, media, or startups
- Must have experience working at a crypto media company
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient at managing complex workflows
- Strong communication and leadership skills — comfortable managing remote teams
- Passion for crypto, digital media, and building something from the ground up
- Startup mentality — proactive, scrappy, and ready to wear multiple hats
