Lead Frontend Engineer

Your day to day…

As our Lead Frontend Engineer your focus will be ensuring Yeti Labs’s products have clean, responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.

Your focus… 

• Develop high-performance interfaces using technologies such as Next.js, React, Tanstack Query, Chakra-ui, Wagmi (EVM), Cosmoskit
• Lead the build of critical frontend components for our platforms, ensuring smooth data analytics, vaults and cross-chain integration/interaction.
• Rapidly implement functional UI elements from design mocks, with an eye toward performance and accessibility (including UI testing).
• Measure app performance to continuously optimise code readability, maintainability, and performance to deliver a high-quality user experience.
• Ensure that components are functional, high performing, elegant and mobile-friendly.
• Document code and maintain code repositories, ensuring the future development team can easily understand and modify the codebase.
• Lead code reviews to identify potential issues and ensure that the codebase meets quality standards.

Your background…

• 5+ years experience in frontend dApp development with expertise in Next.js, React, Tanstack Query, Chakra-ui, Wagmi (EVM), Cosmoskit
• Strong knowledge of frontend technologies and frameworks
• Familiarity with building, securing, scaling, documenting, and deploying APIs
• DeFi user with a strong understanding of Web3 culture and pace
• Experience leading, mentoring and driving innovation across teams
• Hungry and excited to work across multiple projects, building the best web3 frontend agency
