Your Role:
Crypto Briefing is seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager who is deeply immersed in crypto culture and actively follows the latest news and trends in the industry. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy across platforms such as Twitter/X, Telegram, LinkedIn, and others. Your goal will be to build brand awareness, drive engagement, and grow our community metrics. You will also create compelling social media content, manage campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and stay ahead of industry trends and best practices. The ideal candidate is a skilled content marketer, fluent in English, and possesses a keen eye for detail, a sense of humor, and a passion for the crypto space.
What is Crypto Briefing?
Crypto Briefing was founded during the 2017 crypto-boom to highlight the builders and call out the scammers. From its origins in New York, Crypto Briefing has grown into a global news and research organization that spans every time zone.
Now, Crypto Briefing and its research division SIMETRI (the opposite of ‘asymmetry’) aims to give retail investors the same privileged look into the markets that insiders have. We’ve systematically evaluated hundreds of crypto projects to deliver profitable insights to our subscribers and continue to report on the emerging trends in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms including Twitter/X, Telegram, LinkedIn, and others.
- Create and curate engaging and relevant social media content that resonates with the crypto community, including video content, graphics, and memes.
- Be familiar with the tools for content creation, including video editing software, graphic design tools, and meme generators.
- Manage social media campaigns, including content scheduling, posting, and monitoring, to drive engagement and grow community metrics.
- Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media strategies and campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Monitor and engage with the crypto community across social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and trends in a timely and professional manner.
- Leverage AI platforms and large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Claude, and others to enhance content creation, optimize engagement strategies, and streamline social media operations.
- Collaborate with the editorial and marketing teams to align social media content with overall brand messaging and goals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, particularly within the crypto space.
- Experiment with new content formats and strategies to keep our social media presence fresh and engaging..
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, with at least two to three years of direct industry experience, preferably within the crypto or blockchain industry. Bonus points if you have worked at a high growth web3 or blockchain project.
- Deep understanding and immersion in crypto culture, with a passion for staying informed about industry news and trends.
- Strong content creation and content marketing skills, with a portfolio demonstrating success in social media management.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools, AI platforms, and analytics platforms.
- Experience with large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Claude, and others to assist in content generation and strategy development.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize social media performance.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A sense of humor and a passion for engaging with the crypto community.
