Project Manager - Blockchain

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage and coordinate projects related to the Golden Gate blockchain ecosystem. Your primary responsibilities will include planning, organizing, and overseeing project activities to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will also be responsible for working with a distributed team across the globe and ensuring that they are aligned with project goals and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate multiple projects related to the Golden Gate blockchain ecosystem.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure they are adhered to.
• Organize and oversee project activities, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Work with developers and DevOps to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and manage their expectations.
• Work with a globally distributed team to ensure they align with project goals and deliverables.
• Implement project management best practices and continuously improve processes and methodologies.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure all projects align with the overall company strategy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a software development environment.
• Familiarity with GitHub projects, FOSS development practices, and working with a distributed team across the globe.
• Experience working with developers and DevOps.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•  Ability to work independently and proactively to solve problems and overcome obstacles.
•  Knowledge of blockchain technology and concepts would be a plus.
