Senior Back-End Engineer

Job Description:

As a Senior Node.js TypeScript Developer at Sukuri, you will play a key role in the development of our cutting-edge web3 subscription platform. You will work closely with our cross-functional team of developers, designers, and blockchain experts to architect, implement, and maintain scalable solutions that drive the future of subscription services. This role requires a deep understanding of Node.js, TypeScript, Prisma, and PostgreSQL, as well as a passion for blockchain technology and decentralized applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with user interfaces.
• Architect and optimize database schemas using Prisma and PostgreSQL.
• Implement smart contract interactions and blockchain integrations.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning sessions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience building and optimizing database schemas using Prisma and PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of web3 technologies, blockchain concepts, and decentralized applications.
• Familiarity with smart contract development and blockchain platforms such as Ethereum.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Location:

This is a remote-friendly position with the option to work from anywhere. Candidates based in America and Europe are preferred, but we welcome applicants from around the world.
