Prime XBT is looking for a reliable, passionate and experienced legal counsel to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Providing legal support on a variety of matters in fintech/cryptocurrency
- Extensive research on crypto related matters in a multitude of jurisdictions
- Drafting and reviewing legal documentation
- Assisting in corporate structuring, regulatory work, launching products in various jurisdictions (US, EU, Asia, etc), interacting with local counterparties and authorities
- Selecting and managing legal services providers
- Developing and maintaining policies, procedures and supporting documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Developing compliance and regulatory strategies within various business lines
Required skills/experience:
- Senior level specialist with solid capital markets, banking, and regulatory experience
- Experience in blockchain or digital projects is a competitive advantage
- Experience in banking or capital markets practice of an international law firm is a competitive advantage
- Fundamental knowledge of capital markets regulation, understanding concepts of English law, hands-on experience with financial sector regulatory regimes in the EU and the US
- Strong negotiator with great communication skills and an aptitude to clearly articulate differing points of view
- English – full working proficiency, both verbal and written
