About the Role

RockWallet is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the Project Management Office (PMO), overseeing the successful delivery of complex projects that align with RockWallet's strategic objectives. You will report directly to the President and Chief Operating Officer, ensuring that our project management practices support the company's growth and operational excellence.

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end project management, from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, design, marketing, and business operations, to drive projects that support RockWallet’s mission. Additionally, you will lead the PMO, standardizing project management processes, managing resources, and ensuring alignment across all departments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successful project delivery, extensive experience in operational oversight, and a passion for driving organizational alignment. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining a high standard of project execution and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Project Management Office (PMO): Establish and manage the PMO, developing standardized project management processes, tools, and templates to ensure consistency and efficiency across all projects.
• Develop and manage project plans: Oversee the development of detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
• Operational oversight: Provide strategic operational oversight, ensuring that all projects align with company policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Cross-functional coordination: Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure that project tasks are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Risk and issue management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating to leadership as necessary.
• Stakeholder communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project status updates, risk communication, and issue resolution, ensuring transparency and alignment with stakeholders and leadership.
• Facilitate project meetings: Lead key project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and post-project retrospectives, to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
• Documentation and compliance: Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
• Process improvement: Conduct post-project evaluations to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and enhanced efficiency.
• Launch Readiness: Oversee the management and execution of the Launch Readiness process, ensuring successful product and service launches.
• Drive OKRs: Develop, drive, and monitor Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) across the organization to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals and monitor progress toward achieving these objectives.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a must.
• 7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role, preferably in the crypto or fintech industry.
• Proven experience in establishing and managing a Project Management Office (PMO).
• Extensive experience managing projects across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated success in delivering projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is a plus.
