Senior QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful consulting.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts.
• Contribute to automations and processes of data quality.
• Identify gaps, risks and solutions of our applications’ security.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers).
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, security risks and test strategies.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience in software development.
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience on automation framework design and implementation.
• Strong automation testing experience using python.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Excellent interpersonal, consultative and communication skills.
• Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently within a team centric environment.

Preferred:

• Experience conducting end-to-end testing plans: self-test tooling, SIT, UAT, regression testing, etc.
• Enjoys breaking things and solving problems - find unknown unknowns before our users.
• Experience on data quality testing.
• Experience on performance testing.
• Experience on security testing.
