Senior Treasury Operations Analyst

What you’ll be responsible for:

As a member of Treasury Operations, you’ll support day-to-day banking operations, ensuring proper internal controls. You’ll get the opportunity to develop your skills, collaborate across teams, and create solutions to complex problems. You will help us to ensure the success of critical operational functions of USDC Reserve, including transaction confirmation, cash reconciliation, and cash positioning. You will participate in the development of related processes and lead projects to ensure alignment with Treasury objectives, primarily as it relates to cash and financial risk management. This role is an opportunity to work across business functions including Product, Customer Support, Compliance, and Engineering as well as other strategic projects across Treasury functions.

What you'll work on:

• Developing a deep understanding of USDC flows and any operational issues as relates to payment rails. 
• Supporting settlement of customer activities for fiat flowing through our platform and driving any open issues to resolution. 
• Analyzing information by building better processes and reporting for all current and future fiat rails across our products (i.e. wires, ACH, cards, etc.).
• Collaborating with product and engineering to build-out critical tools, automate routine work where possible, and address longer-term or recurring issues.
• Building strong working relationships and collaborating across internal and external teams to address and resolve USDC operational challenges.
• Proactively seeking ways to improve current processes and reduce repeat issues by identifying common causes.
• Maintaining up-to-date cash reporting.
• Supporting cash management operations and helping develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets and minimize costs.
• Continuously evaluating internal process controls to identify weaknesses and any associated risks, as well as making recommendations on how to mitigate those risks.
• Developing and maintaining operational processes through documentation updates and cross-training. 
• Supporting Corporate Treasury needs including Accounting, Accounts Payable, Stock Administration, and other ad hoc requests.
• Performing bank account maintenance including bank account openings, closings, and changes associated with our accounts, services or authorized persons.
• Supporting Accounting through month-end close, including reconciliations.

What you'll bring to Circle:

• 5+ years experience in Treasury Operations or Payments Industry; preferably with a high growth technology company; 
• Bachelor’s degree required; 
• A process-oriented mindset to think critically in a fast paced environment with a driven attitude to improving standards;  
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and use good judgement to establish order or priorities on the fly;
• Established ability to independently organize, analyze and interpret information to explain irregularities or trends; 
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy;
• Proven success in developing meaningful and insightful management dashboards and reporting.
• Ability to influence internal and external teams to resolve exception items and achieve organizational objectives on an expedient basis;
• A proficiency in Google Suite, Slack and Macbook preferred.
