Social Media marketing Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Social Media Marketing Manager to lead the launch of our innovative crypto exchange platform in the Nigerian market. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in not only introducing our product but also ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for users and engaging the vibrant Nigerian crypto community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Launch: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media marketing strategy to successfully launch our crypto exchange in Nigeria.

- User Onboarding: Create user-friendly guides and content to assist Nigerian users in understanding and using our platform effectively.

- Community Engagement: Foster and manage an active and engaged community of cryptocurrency enthusiasts within Nigeria through various social media channels.

- Content Creation: Generate compelling and relevant content, including articles, blog posts, infographics, and videos, that resonates with the Nigerian audience.

- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with trends and developments in the Nigerian crypto market, adapting our strategies accordingly.

- Data Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to track the performance of social media campaigns and adjust strategies for maximum impact.

- Compliance: Ensure that all social media activities adhere to regulatory requirements in the Nigerian crypto market.

Qualifications:

• Proficient English speaker, either native or fluent.

Experience

• At least 5+ years in a comparable role.
• A proven track record of achievements in product marketing, encompassing proficient content creation and effective execution of successful product launches.
• Must provide a robust portfolio highlighting past campaign successes and copywriting accomplishments.
• Proven Experience: A wealth of experience in social media marketing, preferably within the Nigerian fintech industry
• In-Depth Nigerian Market Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Nigerian crypto market, including its unique challenges, trends, and opportunities.

- Technical Skills:

  - Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar platforms.

  - Solid understanding of SEO and its application in social media.

  - Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making.

  - Knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

Need to Have Skills:

- Understanding of Nigerian Regulatory Landscape: Knowledge of the regulatory environment for cryptocurrencies in Nigeria, including licensing requirements and compliance standards.

- Local Partnerships: Experience in establishing partnerships with local crypto-related businesses or influencers to enhance market penetration.

- Cultural Sensitivity: An appreciation for the cultural nuances and sensitivities within Nigeria and the ability to tailor content and engagement accordingly.

- Crisis Management: Ability to handle potential PR or crisis management situations, which can be critical in the crypto industry.
