Solidity / Smart Contract Developer

Responsibilities:

• Create new smart contracts for an existing DeFi protocol that may include migration tools for existing users and funds

• Design, implement and test smart contracts, incentives structure, yield pools, and strategies

• Production-quality upgradeable smart contracts implementing Diamond Standard

• Connect smart contracts to a React TS frontend ​​creating a positive UI experience for users

• Keep up with state-of-the-art developments in DeFi as relevant to the project

Requirements:

• Javascript knowledge and working experience (>2 years, NodeJS, Typescript).

• React JS (we use typescript) knowledge and React Hooks.

• Demonstrable experience interacting with the EVM and writing high-quality, well-tested Solidity.

• Deep, technical and practical understanding of DeFi protocols, DevOps and cybersecurity practices while interfacing with DeFi protocols.

• Strong CS fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms, networking, databases).

• Experience with DeFi primitives like automated market makers such as Uniswap, Balancer, Sushiswap.

• An awareness of different products and services that large DeFi projects like Uniswap and Maker are offering, and how they are implemented in terms of business logic, technology, systems, and software architecture.

• Experience with development suites such as Hardhat, Truffle, Dapp, Embark, or Brownie and its associated dev-ops environment.

• Experience with contract libraries, such as Dappsys and OpenZeppelin.

• Experience with Git and GitHub, and making open source contributions.

Preferred:

• Proficiency working across the Web3 stack (including other libraries like ethers.js), having had exposure to many different APIs and SDKs.

• Experience with utilizing and building NFTs 

• A technical understanding of finance as it pertains to transferring value via smart contracts and building financial instruments

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility

• “Can do - Mentality” and team player qualities.

• Solving problems creatively in a self-motivated environment, across time zones and ruthlessly prioritizing tasks.

The number of years of experience does not matter so long as you have built complex projects from scratch, demonstrate a burning desire to learn more, constantly improve yourself, and are prepared to solve complex problems on a daily basis. We're a small team so you can assure yourself that whatever you contribute - in terms of engineering, or otherwise - is always heard and discussed.
