RESPONSIBILITIES聽路 Manage Accounts Payable, expense reimbursements and corporate credit card programs路 Prepare and record journal entries with supporting documentation to ensure a timely month-end close process路 Prepare reconciliation schedules and analyze variance as part of the month-end close process路 Assist with the annual audit, ensuring requests are delivered in a timely manner路 Be the book expert and assist FP&A with management reporting路 Complete and manage other strategic initiatives & ad hoc projects as needed路 Analyze balance sheet accounts and post monthly journal entries路 Maintain and track intercompany loan schedulesREQUIREMENTS路 4-6 years accounting experience in similar positions路 Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience required路 Experience with QuickBooks路 Solid understanding of US GAAP and full cycle accounting required路 Expert using Excel, able to work with large quantity of data to dissect and analyze路 Strong written and verbal communication skills required路 Able to multitask and work independently in fast paced environmentBudgeting & planning: prepare meaningful analysis (internal and external) for strategic business decisions and model financial situations路 Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process and quarterly variance analysis路 Ensure all accounting transactions are properly recorded路 Assist in ensuring internal controls and compliance processes are in place and operating effectively路 Establish and track core metrics that are essential to the financial health of the company路 Calculate and forecast burn and runway, and accurately present current future cash position in real-time路 Be a trusted advisor to the leadership team; proactively collaborate, influence, and align the company's planning processes to achieve the overall company strategy路 Work cross-functionally to drive process and systematic improvements including data collection and reporting streams across the organization路 Work directly with external auditors and provide supporting documentation as needed路 Perform ad hoc projects and reporting as needed by executive management路 Oversee accounts payable, processes and procedures路 Other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS路 3-5 years FP&A and/or related experience路 BS/BA degree in a quantitative discipline路 Strong financial modeling skills in Excel路 Familiar with setting up finance software systemsPREFERRED路 Experience working in a start-up路 Strong interest in fintech, blockchain and/or open-source路 Ability to write and understand SQL路 Working technical knowledge of tax (e.g. US GAAP accounting, tax laws, US and international compliance deliverables, etc.) is helpful in managing outside financial partners)Apply for this job
