Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Management and Design teams to translate the product vision into functional and engaging web applications.
• Own and work on projects and components across the frontend pipeline - develop reusable modules, automated testing, continuous deployment
• Provide inputs to frontend development strategy, framework selection and emerging technology
• Optimise/build applications, libraries & frameworks for maximum speed and scalability, while ensuring application security.
• Participate in sprint planning and standups to discuss priorities and manage issues.
• Know when to create abstractions vs. one-off features

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer (5+ years) with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating proficiency in developing highly interactive, dynamic web applications.
• Hands-on proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript with understanding of common HTML5 features, ES6 specification. (good at page layout and refactoring, browser operation principles, browser compatibility, caching, authentication, and CSP for example)
• Familiar with Restful API and data transfer between FE and BE
• Experience with agile methodologies and software development tooling and processes 
• You are comfortable working with some ambiguity and are able to self-direct your work
• You've made enough mistakes and booked enough wins to know what not to build and know what good looks like

Nice to have

• Familiarity with integrating web3 libraries and components
• Experience shipping in Fintech and/or DeFi / Web3
• Experience working with smart contracts (Solidity) is a plus
• MSc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
