We are seeking top talent to help implement our next-generation Rust implementation as part of our core team.
We currently have a network that was built as a proof-of-concept in Node.js that supports tens of thousands of daily transactions. The new Rust implementation will serve as a high-performance backbone for the network. This is a foundational role within the tech team that will contribute to creating a fantastic set of tools for developing and delivering a new and unique featureset. This code will be both a Reference Implementation and an open codebase that the community can engage with. Experience with and opinions on TDD, Agile, Continious Integration, and similar things will be helpful.
Requirements: Experience or desire to learn Rust. Enthusiasm for blockchain, distributed systems and/or public key infrastructure. Prefer experience with networking or high-performance systems.
Nice-to-have: Javascript, system administration, Chinese.
Salary: Above market rate depending on experience, optionally payable in cryptocurrency
