Role Overview
The Technical Scrum Master / Agile Coach will be the driving force behind Agile delivery excellence, helping distributed teams consistently ship high-impact work with speed and clarity. You’ll facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove blockers, coach on best practices, and ensure alignment across time zones in a truly async-first work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all core Agile ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, backlog grooming
- Identify and remove blockers impacting engineering velocity or team morale
- Partner with Product Owners and Technical Leads to maintain backlog health and sprint readiness
- Coach teams on Agile best practices, velocity tracking, and self-organization
- Track sprint metrics and surface insights for continuous improvement
- Act as a cultural bridge across time zones to keep remote teams connected and aligned
- Support onboarding of new engineers with workflows and Agile processes
- Contribute to documentation of delivery processes, operating rhythms, and best practices
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Delivery Manager
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks (Scrum Master certification preferred)
- Experience working with globally distributed, async-first teams
- Familiarity with Web3 product cycles, smart contract integrations, and decentralized teams
- Proficiency with tools such as Linear, Jira, Notion, Slack, Figma, and GitHub
- Servant-leadership mindset and ability to lead without direct authority
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Blockchain or crypto-native experience
- Experience working in or supporting DAOs
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows and Web3 protocol development lifecycles
- Experience with developer onboarding and technical documentation
