I am writing to apply for the Events Manager role at Swash. This position really intrigued me as it encompasses a handful of roles that I believe would enable me to excel given my skills and experiences. The data world encompasses an infinite amount of opportunities within businesses and bridges the gap between different modes of communication. In the events space, strategizing the way data is used is crucial for a smooth execution of projects and overall, successful outcomes. I am confident to say that my interests in organizing events, technology as well as my marketing expertise, make me a viable candidate for this position.
Growing up in an international environment has allowed me to become a citizen of the world. Being surrounded by people of different nationalities has shaped me as a human being where my personality and my skills have been influenced by the numerous connections I have made throughout my life. My natal city Rome also known as the glorious eternal city, encompasses beauties of all dimensions. Fashion, art and history are some of its most precious jewels that create the foundation of its culture. Rome has taught me how valuable it is to stop, listen, and try to grasp the most out of experiences. I like to think of my city as a listener and all of its people as spectators. As a spectator of my own city, listening is key to my personal growth in every spectrum. It is the key to understanding and thereafter developing. Listening is the equivalent of respect and therefore requires patience and dedication.
In my past professional experiences, I had to master the skill of listening. For this role I know that I will need to excel in the skill of multitasking as overseeing diverse operations will be fundamental to successfully execute performance across different channels. Working cross functionally will allow me to show my leadership and communication potential through delivering exceptional working ethics and analytical skills. Providing quantitative and creative recommendations will also enable me to show my determination in organizing seamless events. With my experience in managing the pre- and post-executive of an event I know I will be able to bring forth great organizational skills that will help increase the development of the company’s strategy. Today more than ever, technology encapsulates the potential of growing businesses to greater scales. In the past few months, I have been intrigued about this new idea of NFT’s and the role they have within the business and creative world. I have strongly related to NFT’s as they resemble my personality in a way. It fascinates me how these interchangeable assets can represent one’s passions in diverse ways and dimensions. This role will enable me to show my determination and my willingness to cooperate with partners and customers within different segments of the business.
I have functioned as an intermediary project manager where gathering ideas, updating the internal dashboard and delivering final proposals to subsidiary teams allowed me to take on a leadership role that required my full attention and only enhanced my listening and proactive skills. Failure to do so would cause harm to my team and diminish the likelihood of being relied on. Working cross-functionally, with suppliers, customers and executives, I have learned different methods of professional approach and engagement. I have demonstrated loyalty to my superiors through my willingness to go out of my comfort zone and bring forth essential work without necessary prior knowledge. My professional experiences have taught me to never set boundaries on one’s capabilities and never set limits to one’s goals. Data analysis has been one of those skills that has put a lot of confidence on my plate. For the longest time I had a misconception of what data analytics stood for and its purpose, however, I now find myself eloquently praising data analysis as it opened my eyes to different ways in which businesses can improve performance, efficiency and discover new data related patterns. Data analysis involves the combination of different practices and the more company’s leverage this technique at different scales the less risk there is in combatting competition. I became really intrigued with the world of Data as it welcomed me in a moment of uncertainty and skepticism. I learned how to interconnect my passions to a skill I had little knowledge about. Strategy is another technical concept that I truly consider to be the foundation of any decision-making process. Strategizing new ideas, actions, projects and discussions is crucial when wanting to exceed expectations. A great strategic leader once told me “Strategic analysis is the key to any successful execution, whether you work in the fashion world or in finance, strategy will always guide you to do the right things in a proactive way”, these words have stuck with me and will always stick with me as they made me ponder on the creation of my ideal future.
On the other hand, multitasking is one of my main soft skills that allows me to work on different tasks and projects while remaining loyal to my priorities. At times I over excel on my communication skills as I ensure that every thought process, question or concern is brought to the attention of my superiors. Collaboration, networking and social skills are to me what define an effective working environment, and these are some communications skills I am willing to bring to the table. I think skillfully and critically in distinct situations and understand solutions based on my creative and curious mindset. My flexibility has increased my satisfaction levels and gave me the chance to acknowledge and adapt to changing circumstances. Being flexible allows me to take on more responsibilities and increase loyalty in all my relationships.
Traveling to Boston, to enhance my education skills, has served me as an experiential accomplishment that enlarged my cultural interactions. The Events Manager role at Swash sounds like a great opportunity and aligns with where I would like to take my career. Being able to integrate my interests and apply my learnings to work on meaningful, complex matters is an environment in which I believe I would thrive in.
I started out mining alts with a few colleagues back in 2013, built a mining farm in an old chicken egg-laying factory. The smell was incredible, but so was the hashrate. The partners decided to move on to other business a year in, so we consolidated the equipment. I moved on to day-trading crypto for a bit, stopped to deal with school and now hold 80% crypto in paper storage (the rest in various exchanges) while I day-trade fiat derivatives and equity. All that being said, I do keep up to date with the market, and am currently waiting to enter any IPOs I find desirable. As a crypto veteran of sorts, I find that this would be quite beneficial to the position. Being a natural salesman with a way with words would go a long way too, most indubitably. If you're looking for someone to actively promote your products, get eyeballs, attention and traffic with eloquence, humour and good-ol' fashioned salesmanship, then I'm the right man for the job. Thank you for considering me and I hope to hit the ground running soon.
My name is Celia, I live in Montreal and I crypto-currencies are my passion.
What I bring to the table are valuable long-lasting business relationships and all my past employers & collaborators will be happy to confirm this.
Prospecting leads is my forte and my value-proposition is that I am a connector. Since getting involved with crypto-currencies two years ago, I've been attending all the crypto conferences that I possibly could and shook hands with fellow crypto enthusiasts. I find out about the challenges they’re faced with in order to put them touch with whomever might be most likely to provide them with the support they need.
Crypto is an ever-changing ecosystem that requires a high level of curiosity and discernment to keep up with. My technical understanding is not at the level of a cryptographer, coder or miner but I find myself much more fluent in discussing the fundamentals and inner workings of the ecosystem than the average crypto enthusiast would.
This edge in my learning curve is in part thanks to my mentoring network composed of key players in the industry whom I have had the chance to speak with extensively. However, I never want to rest on my laurels and therefore am pursuing and on-going quest of knowledge on this subject.
Thank you for reading my message, it's very much appreciated!
Celia C.
As I mention to my team leaders, many areas of our life are uncontrollable and some of them end up being negative, therefore our work should always be a positive one, since we are the one choosing it. I have fought to pass this mentality to everyone surrounding me and I can confirm that the ones who are living by this premise are undoubtedly happier. The position of Transformation Lead provides an excellent opportunity to help improve processes, procedures and ultimately performance, which will drive happiness on the ulterior stage.
For me the experience of being as Operations and Transformation Manager made me realize that I enjoy managing people, I find it very rewarding and rarely there is a morning when I am not excited to go to work. I have reached a point where I believe to have gained enough and quality knowledge, that I am ready to pass it to others, helping them improve their performance and the overall business.
I consider myself a demanding person, who tries to get out of the comfort zone and learn new knowledge continuously. Given my skills, previous experience and principles I consider myself a candidate that would fit in the team, gaining experience, new competences and methods while providing and exceeding results. Urging to learn new ways to do things and tools, and the ability to pass it to the rest of the company in the form of new and improved practices.
Thank you very much for considering my application,
I am highly interested in the position of Community Manager.
As it can be seen in my CV I have over 4 years of experience as a self-employed Image Consultant and Social Media Manager for various projects and small to medium sized businesses and public figures.
My main traits are my creativity and eloquence in English. As an ambitious individual with a natively analytical and results oriented mindset I enjoy working in teams where ideas can be developed and perfected. I put a lot of value on accuracy and punctuality as well as working clean and structured. Through my working experience I developed into a very independent worker.I hope this short description of myself and my work experience opened up your interest in me as an employee and I look forward to a personal interview.
Sincerely,
Alexandru Matesan
