Dear hiring team,
My name is and I’m interested in the position of Site Reliability Engineer at Linkpool. I believe that the skills and experience that I gained at this position make me a good fit for this position.
As a Cloud and Security Engineer (AWS and Google Cloud), I am responsible for creating a robust and effective cloud environment with the goal of a fast and reliable service that users can rely on. I have been working a lot on Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC) using terraform to automate the manual and repetitive tasks that have been taking developers time, optimize deployment with containerized applications (Kubernetes, VMs) and also configure CI/CD pipeline to make things easier for developers.
I also have a degree in Cyber Security and have been working closely with the security team to make sure that the services are compliant with multiple security standards and certifications and also maintaining all the permissions in Cloud (especially data management) based on security principles.
Working with a company in loans and lending make me understand the importance of service availability and reliability, Although it’s not officially stated, I have also been taking the role of Site Reliability Engineer at the company to maintain logs (Stackdriver, Elasticsearch), create monitoring and separate them between critical level (Grafana, Stackdriver Dashboard), and also error and uptime alerting (Stackdriver Alerting, Pagerduty) to ensure that the developers and the company will always be up to date in case there’s a problem and to ensure that we achieve the SLA target that been set.
More or less, I'm really excited to be part of a blockchain community, I must admit that while i'm a super blockchain enthusiast and been setting up some blockchain networks on AWS for clients, I have no chance to really start my journey with it, I must admit that there's more grey area than white for me, but if i get the chance, i can ensure you that i'm a fast learner and willing to go all the way to be the right person for your team!
Best Regards,
Hello! After spending the last five years working in the cybersecurity space-- first as a customer-facing Implementation Engineer, and currently as a Site Reliability Engineer-- I am ready for the next phase of my career. I am extremely enthusiastic about decentralized applications, EVM, and anything Ethereum-related. I am at my best and happiest when faced with a difficult concept to quickly and thoroughly grasp, and I take pride in my ability to piece together disparate but relevant pieces of any puzzle you put in front of me. I have a working knowledge of OOP and am comfortable with Python, Bash, and IaC. I'm still working on building up my portfolio, but if you would like to speak in the meantime, I would be thrilled to hear from you. Please don't hesitate to reach out-- to geek out, to brainstorm, or just to introduce yourself.
I have been a software developer for 3 years, working with technologies such as React, Springboot, AWS, IAC (Terraform), ConcourseCI, and have recently begun learning Solidity.
At my current job (Comcast) I design API's for IoT devices (cameras, wifi extenders, touchscreens etc..). I am also very involved with the CI/CD process, we use ConourseCI, Docker and Terraform to orchestrate our cloud environment and deploy software for IoT devices all over the country.
At my previous job (Lockheed Martin) I was the lead React developer for a project called GATR for a deeplearning research team. For this project I used the MERN stack and it was featured on SpaceNews.
I have been in a strategic role, building an exchange for the past 2 years. I served as a product owner, leadership, QA processes, strategy, user outreach and marketing.
I spent a considerable amount of time, suggesting improvements based on my own and user experiences. I believe I could provide great value with what I have learned from my experiences.
I'm currently in between projects and looking for new opportunities in the crypto space. As a long time member of the Bitcoin community, I've recently completed projects at bitcoin.com to enhance the mining pool infrastructure and contribute to core infrastructure terraform modules.
For the mining pool, I worked closely with the lead java developer to built out prometheus monitoring with grafana, alertmanager and ops genie. The metrics were published at the application level and scraped by prometheus. Additionally, I built kafka on kubernetes with the strimzi operator to handle incoming mining shares.
After successfully completing objectives to stabilize the mining pool, I transitioned to the core infrastructure team. On the core team, I developed terraform modules for AWS RDS and Redis while advising developers how to best leverage modules for their deployments.
Another responsibility for the bitcoin.com mining pool was managing instances of bitcoind for both Bitcoin BTC and Bitcoin Cash. I developed custom dockerfiles to use kubernetes configmaps for their configurations. Using configmaps allowed a single docker image to be deployed into multiple regions that may require unique configurations.
I’d love to talk more about how my experience could benefit Validation Capital. When is a good time to discuss?
I am an Electronics Engineer, Software Developer & DevOps, Advisor highly involved in the development of various cryptocurrencies (d/n/b/PoS), distributed protocols and SDK's. I have a wide variety of skills ranging from project management, software development, infrastructure, design of new concurrency-related features and innovations to community support, business relations and other social interactions. I am an author of white-papers, design tokenomics documentation and other technical documentation with a very good understanding of all Web3 and Interchain technologies such as Substrate or Tendermint.
I am self-employed in the Czech Republic and incorporated in Georgia with all documents allowing me to work in the B2B fashion, I also possess a Switzerland Permit B and EU citizenship. I speak and write fluent English, native Polish, and can communicate over text in Czech and elementary German. If required I am capable to relocate and work abroad including USA territory (I do not require work permit or visa sponsorships to work in the USA).
I enjoy creating business relations, helping others understand novel Web3 and Interchain related technologies including various SDK’s, tools as well as crypto-economics. I am not foreign to the financial modeling and ecosystem projects evaluation and advisory. I can test and evaluate the usability, limitations and potential security considerations of tools and frameworks but also design novel features as per the requirements of the clients. My goal is to ensure the growth of the cryptocurrency ecosystem and bringing it to the wider public. I am extremely level headed, do not fear to travel, do public speeches, panel discussions or presentations.

Hi Hagios & Torus team,
I am Chris from SageScaling. My colleague WenPei and me are just setting out to offer DevOps as a service - sagescaling.com - to provide specialized crypto DevOps as an low-price alternative to hiring a full-time engineer.
We have 13-year DevOps experience and a 2-year crypto focus. Previously, we worked at imToken, the most-used mobile crypto wallet, with a peak of 10million MAU and currently ~800k MAU (similar to Metamask). Having mostly Asian users, we ran our own parity nodes parallel to utilizing Infura.
We maintained the key management, dedicated cold wallets; my colleague WenPei led the architecture team, implemented automation tooling up to deployment into production, maintained kubernetes clusters, built internal monitoring and alerts with Prometheus, Grafana and set up blockchain data monitoring. Throughout the whole lifecycle we had a strong focus on security and data security. We worked with Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud. Here is WenPei’s resume for reference: https://nextoa.com/resume/wangwenpei-en/
We see a strong fit between Tor.us and our services. As our focus on crypto DevOps allows us to maintain your system under market price, saving you the cost of training new hires. Could you see your team working with a remote DevOps team? We offer maintenance and operation contracts, retainer positions, where our team could cover absence or capacity issues, and are open to adjust to your needs.
Please let us know if you are interested! We would love to have a chat.
Chris
