Associate, Product Manager (Risk Management Solutions) - New York

Who You Are:

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Product Manager to join our team, focusing on developing products that manage risk across our various business lines. This role will require a close working relationship with the lending product manager to understand and optimize resource allocation and client exposure. 

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with the lending product team to understand resource allocation and client exposure, ensuring robust risk management
• Develop and enhance credit management and inventory management tools
• Work closely with technical teams to design and implement risk management solutions
• Conduct comprehensive market research to stay updated with the latest trends and practices in risk management
• Assist in managing the product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs
• Analyze and interpret complex data to inform product development strategies
• Liaise with various stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring product efficacy and relevance

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is preferred)
• 1+years of experience in product management, ideally in fintech, cryptocurrency, or risk management domain
• Familiarity with derivatives (Forwards, Options, Swaps, etc.) and their application in risk management
• Technical background, especially in risk management software or tools, is highly advantageous
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure'

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.

Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000
