Accountant (12 months contract)

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Resolve discrepancies between system and finance records, actively seeking solutions to minimize these differences
• Identify weaknesses in daily operations and implement process improvements
• Collaborate with various accounting stakeholders to ensure smooth monthly account closures and timely financial reporting
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and duties as required

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance. ACCA or CPA
• 4-6 years of relevant experience, including Big Four audit experience
• Hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment
• Team player with strong adaptability
• Results-oriented problem solver
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Deep understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently
