Accountant (6 months contract, renewable)

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting operations
• Expense reimbursement and payment review, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure a smooth closing of accounts and timely reporting of financials
• Prepare monthly accounting schedules, journal entries and reconciliation
• Work closely and supports the intercompany team
• Provide support in process and system enhancements
• Perform ad-hoc assignments/duties as required

Requirements

• Possesses Degree in Accountancy/Finance. ACCA or CPA graduates may also apply
• Has at least 3 - 5 years of work experience, preferably started their career in an audit environment
• Ability to identify the control weaknesses on daily operations and implement process improvements
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Adept in MS Excel
• A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently
