Accounting Manager (Finance Projects/Transformation) (12 months contract)

Responsibilities

• Perform data validation and reconciliation works to test completeness and accuracy of data from different data sources
• Perform testing on various areas of inventory system as tasked by Senior Accounting Manager
• Assist the Senior Accounting Manager to prepare guiding accounting entries relevant to platform activities across different products and business units
• Provide project management support to Senior Accounting Manager to drive adoption and implementation of the inventory system
• Provide ad-hoc support to system users to investigate, troubleshoot and/or report issues (depending on complexity and severity) to tech support
• Documentation of detailed user guide for the inventory system specific to month end close process
• Other ad-hoc tasks determined by the Senior Accounting Manager

Requirements

• Between 8-10 years of experience in a combination of industry, preferably in FinTech, FMCG or Financial Services
• Bachelors degree and a Qualified Accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA, or similar)
• Deep experience in multi-currency and regional accounting operations
• Hands-on and confident in handling large datasets for reconciliation and data validation (strong Excel skills)
• Working experience across various accounting & finance systems
• Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity
• Adapt to a face paced continuous learning environment and show a willingness to take on additional responsibility, where required
• Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, with a desire to stay informed about industry developments and trends
• Experienced in UATs
