Backend Developer - Core/Service/NodeJS/JavaScript

We are looking for a Backend Developer - Core/Service/NodeJS/JavaScript, who can help the Lisk project achieve the very highest standards in code quality, performance and security. You can find more information about our products here: www.Lisk.com and on GitHub.

• Development of NodeJS based applications and microservices
• Development of relational databases
• Development of Swagger/OpenAPI based RESTful APIs
• Development of WebSocket based APIs
• Integration of 3rd party services, such as crypto exchanges
• Development planning: requirements gathering and design
• Debugging, root-cause analysis, bug fixing
• Unit, functional and integration testing
• Quality assurance (Manual and Automation)

• Native level fluency in English (spoken and written)
• 5+ years professional development experience in building scalable microservice applications
• Basic knowledge of blockchain, cryptography, distributed networks
• Basic knowledge of Lisk, Bitcoin, Ethereum and other protocols
• Working knowledge of NodeJS
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript
• Working knowledge of HTTP, WebSockets, JSON-RPC
• Working knowledge of Redis, and MySQL (or any other SQL DB)
• Working knowledge of Moleculer, or similar microservice frameworks
• Working knowledge of programming paradigms such as functional, event-driven and OOPs
• Working knowledge of unit, functional, integration, smoke and regression tests
• Working knowledge of Git (and GitHub)
