RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Backend Developer - Core/Service/NodeJS/JavaScript, who can help the Lisk project achieve the very highest standards in code quality, performance and security. You can find more information about our products here: www.Lisk.com and on GitHub.
- Development of NodeJS based applications and microservices
- Development of relational databases
- Development of Swagger/OpenAPI based RESTful APIs
- Development of WebSocket based APIs
- Integration of 3rd party services, such as crypto exchanges
- Development planning: requirements gathering and design
- Debugging, root-cause analysis, bug fixing
- Unit, functional and integration testing
- Quality assurance (Manual and Automation)
REQUIREMENTS
- Native level fluency in English (spoken and written)
- 5+ years professional development experience in building scalable microservice applications
- Basic knowledge of blockchain, cryptography, distributed networks
- Basic knowledge of Lisk, Bitcoin, Ethereum and other protocols
- Working knowledge of NodeJS
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript
- Working knowledge of HTTP, WebSockets, JSON-RPC
- Working knowledge of Redis, and MySQL (or any other SQL DB)
- Working knowledge of Moleculer, or similar microservice frameworks
- Working knowledge of programming paradigms such as functional, event-driven and OOPs
- Working knowledge of unit, functional, integration, smoke and regression tests
- Working knowledge of Git (and GitHub)
