This space is nascent and we think we can build the missing pieces that will help the Metaverse reach mainstream audiences. We're looking for a talented backend developer who can help us build a clean, scaleable, backend that integrates well with our client, as well as develop our API.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Design clean system architecture and build robust backend software
- Design, build, and launch scalable infrastructure and data pipelines
- Work with data and design teams to develop and execute on requirements
- Work with external and internal data sources to aggregate and clean up raw data
- Write proper and complete test cases
- Use tools such as Redis and Kafka to improve scalability and performance
- Improve functionality of existing systems
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience developing in Python or similar backend languages
- Experience designing and implementing clean infrastructure and efficient data pipelines
- Experience working with raw data and data aggregation
- Experience with SQL or similar query languages
- Experience with RESTful API design
- Experience with common web frameworks such as Flask, Django, or a similar backend architectures
- Familiarity with Redis, Docker, Kafka, and Git
- Familiarity with AWS or familiar cloud platforms
Nice-to-haves:
- A passion for Blockchain, the Metaverse, and Metaverse applications
- Knowledge of how smart contracts and blockchain works
- Experience in creating/deploying infrastructure (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, Meltano, etc.)
- Familiarity with React, NextJS, Typescript, GraphQL
