You will be hired under a junior fixed term contract.Our Binance Accelerator Program - Welcome event, starts the first Monday of every month (i.e. April 3, May 1st, June 5th, etc).Who may applyCurrent undergraduate / graduate students and fresh graduates.We are looking for several talented SRE Engineer interns to join our Global Central SRE team. He/She will have the chance to design and improve our central Big Data infrastructure/services to the next stage, to ensure the data, services, and infrastructures are reliable, fault-tolerant, efficiently scalable, and cost-effective, and work in a cross-national team with various stakeholders including but not limited to software developers, product managers, and senior fellow.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the SRE Data team to engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of service, from inception and design, through to deployment, operation, and refinement.
• Develop and maintain tools, re-designing capacity planning infrastructure for greater scalability.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, fixing software issues, and ensuring data security.
• Define architecture improvements, and push for changes that improve reliability.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, master's, or Ph.D. program, ideally in Computer Science or Engineering-related.
• Experienced in one of the mainstream open-source data groups, including but not limited to HDFS, HBase, YARN, Hive, Spark, Flink, Airflow, Presto, Kyuubi, ZK, and Kafka.
• Have used at least one automation component tool (e.g. Ansible, Terraform).
• Basic understanding of operating systems and computer networks.
• Know at least one language (e.g. Python, Golang, Java).
• Experience in the public cloud (e.g. AWS, Tencent Cloud, GCP) management and use is preferred.
